Bathurst, February 12, 2026 – On February 3, Imagine Chaleur held a training session entitled "Experiencing Cultural Diversity in the Workplace" at the Best Western Hotel in Bathurst. Presented by Licet Laverde of Option Travail and offered in partnership with the Vitalité Health Network, the event brought together many participants from the health sector, all eager to better understand and value cultural diversity within their teams.

"In a context where attracting and retaining workers are major challenges for our region, focusing on inclusive workplaces is a strategic lever. This training has enabled organizations to better equip their teams, promote cultural diversity, and create environments conducive to engagement, performance, and the sustainability of our services," said Shirley de Silva, Director of Imagine Chaleur.

Throughout the day, the training emphasized the importance of open-mindedness, listening, and dialogue. By promoting greater intercultural understanding, workplaces help create more respectful, humane, and positive environments where everyone can thrive and participate fully.
At the heart of the training, one powerful reflection particularly resonated with the audience:
"Adapting does not mean erasing oneself. We all have our own history and traditions. Being open-minded means giving ourselves the opportunity to learn from each other and grow together."

This quote from Ms. Laverde reminds us that adapting to the workplace in culturally diverse contexts does not mean setting aside one's identity. On the contrary, each person brings their own experiences, values, and culture to the table, and it is precisely this diversity that enriches and benefits professional environments.

Through this initiative, Imagine Chaleur reaffirms its commitment to supporting inclusive workplaces and promoting practices that foster collaboration, respect, and cohesion within teams.
