For the Chaleur Regional Service Commission, the Green Cone perfectly complements the recycling bin. Since the implementation of alternating curbside recycling collection, some residents were concerned about unpleasant odors from waste left in bins for two weeks. With the Green Cone, organic waste is broken down directly in the ground, eliminating this issue.
Introduced into our composting program in 2013, this digester has since won over many residents. Hundreds of units have already been sold in the region, a testament to its effectiveness and usefulness!
