The program for accepted electrical and electronic products for recycling saw some great improvements in December 2026!

 

Several categories of equipment accepted at no cost have been added to the already extensive list:

  • Display Devices: Cathode ray tube (CRT) screens, plasma screens, projection devices, etc.;
  • Telecommunication Devices: Cellular and landline phones, pagers, telephone answering machines, mobile terminals, etc.;
  • Home Audiovisual Systems: VCD & DVD players, home theatre systems, amplifiers, VCRs, etc.;
  • Computer Equipment: Desktop computers, laptops, peripherals (mice, printers, keyboards, etc.), and cables;
  • Personal Audio & Video Systems: iPods, headphones, MP3 players, voice recorders, digital cameras, CD players, etc.;
  • In-Vehicle Audio & Video Systems: Amplifiers, equalizers, speakers, screens, and other audio/video equipment integrated into the dashboard;
  • Non-cellular phones and answering machines: corded phones, cordless phones, VoIP phones, answering machines, USB speakers, etc.;
  • Cellular devices and pagers: cell phones, smartphones, pagers, phablets, etc.;
  • Floor-standing multifunction devices: floor-standing office printers, copiers, scanners, large-format printers, etc.;
  • Countertop microwave ovens;
  • Garment care appliances: irons, boot dryers, garment sanitizers, etc.;
  • Weight and time measurement devices: bathroom scales, kitchen scales, luggage scales, wall clocks, timers, etc.;
  • Air treatment devices: portable fans, portable heaters, air purifiers, humidifiers, aromatherapy diffusers, etc.;
  • Personal care appliances: dental care devices, razors, trimmers, straighteners, hair styling and drying appliances, etc.
