If you have leftover paint you want to get rid of, do not throw it in your garbage bin! Not only is paint considered a household hazardous waste (HHW) due to its components (which can be harmful to living beings and the environment) but it can also be recycled.

To dispose of it, you have two options:

  • Bring it to the CRSC Solid Waste Management Facility located at 1300 Route 360 in Allardville (Red Pine), Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) or Saturday (8:00 AM – 11:30 AM).
  • Wait for one of our special HHW collection events, which takes place twice a year (in spring and fall).
